New generation office lighting combines state-of-the-art ActiveLED, electronic and mechanical design - choice of 14 to 52 Watt models.
The picture to the left is the 1x4 version of Flanged Recessed Ceiling Light.
The ActiveLED® OL2-F Flanged Recessed Panel Light installs to the underside of a solid ceiling without needing physical access above the ceiling. Four innovative locking arms are accessed with a Philips screwdriver from underneath the fixture to securely "clamp" the flanged fixture to the ceiling substrate.
The OL2F Series includes support for EDSaP Digital Management and the optional Emergency Battery Backup Unit (EBBU).
With its patented design and superior LED elements, the ActiveLED Flanged Recessed Panel Light is a reliable light source with a 90,000-hour lumen life, making it a maintenance-free solution for applications where changing bulbs and ballasts can be expensive and hazardous. It consumes at least 50-85 percent less energy than conventional lighting and additional energy savings can be achieved with optional light management.
Significant savings from not having to maintain and renew ballasts and fluorescent tubes in light fixtures, reduced heat generation and energy use justify the initial outlay.

ActiveLED® Technology
Ringdale uses the latest in energy efficient LEDs and LED Modules producing equal or greater light output than fluorescent light fixtures. Our state-of-the-art electronics monitor current and temperature of the substrate to assure maximum performance under the prevailing environmental conditions and a Lumen Lifetime of 90,000 hours (90% Luminous Flux).
ActiveLED® Diffuser Technology
We use state-of-the-art diffuser technology with a minimal amount of light loss in the fixture providing for maximum lighting efficiency.
ActiveLED® Architectural Features
Ringdale ActiveLED® Recessed Panel fixtures act as a heat transfer barrier between office (air conditioned) space and ceiling (non-air conditioned) space.
Ringdale Panel Lights are half the height of a conventional fluorescent light fixture and about half the weight putting less stress on the straps and strips holding the ceiling.
ActiveLED® Warranties
We provide mechanically robust indoor lighting systems; our warranties are 10 years on LED elements, fixtures and drivers / power supplies.
Ringdale is an ISO 9001:2000 company, registered under BSI certificate FM-1880. Ringdale provides products of the highest quality designed and manufactured in Texas, USA and in the United Kingdom.

ActiveLED® OL2-F Series Installation Process
Assuming that the ceiling aperture has already been cut to the correct size, installing the OL2-F series is a simple, four-step process:
STEP | DESCRIPTION |
(1) | Swing the four locking mechanisms back into their retracted position. Lift / support the OL2F fixture up to the ceiling aperture and connect the AC line feed to the fixture. |
(2) | Carefully insert the fixture into the ceiling aperture until the flange part of the fixture is snug up against the underside of the ceiling. |
(3) | While holding the fixture up against the underside of the ceiling, insert a Philips #3 screwdriver into one of the access holes in the flange to access the locking mechanism and turn clockwise, this will rotate the locking arm into the extended position. Continue turning the screw to raise the fixture until is held securely up against the surface of the ceiling. Repeat with the other three locking mechanisms. |
(4) | Carefully and evenly tighten each locking screw such that the fixture is held snugly in place up against the underside of the ceiling. To complete the aesthetics of the installation, snap the four small round blanking caps (provided) into the four access holes. |
