FL40U-Series ActiveLED® Area Flood Light is configured for applications where the fixture is installed on tall poles up to 40 feet to illuminate Recreation Areas and Parks.
With a CCT rating of 5000K the ActiveLED Area Horizontal Lights illuminate the playing field evenly with a bright light that closely emulates the color of natural daylight, making night-time playing a day-time experience.
The FL40U-Series ActiveLED® Area Horizontal Light consumes at least 75-90 percent less energy than conventional lighting.
With its patented design and superior LED elements, the ActiveLED Area Horizontal Light is a reliable light source with a 90,000-hour lumen life (90% Luminous Flux), making it a maintenance-free solution for applications where changing bulbs and ballasts can be hazardous and expensive.
ActiveLED flood lighting solves the problems of energy wastage, light pollution and maintenance. The design has optimized water management and cooling to be effective in the hottest of climates as well as performing without degradation down to -58° F (-50° C).
Significant additional energy savings can be achieved by deploying the device's optional daylight sensor, motion sensor and remote energy management features.

ActiveLED® Technology
Ringdale uses the latest in energy efficient LEDs and LED Modules producing equal or greater light output than HID light fixtures. Our state-of-the-art electronics monitor current and temperature of the substrate to assure maximum performance under the prevailing environmental conditions and a Lumen Lifetime of 90,000 hours (90% Luminous Flux).
ActiveLED® Diffuser Technology
We use state-of-the-art diffuser technology with a minimal amount of light loss within the fixture providing for maximum lighting efficiency.
FL40-J Area Horizontal Light Mounting / Installations
The actual area to be illuminated and pole mounting heights will determine the quantity and orientation of ActiveLED flood light fixtures required on each pole.
The following schematic is an example of just four Area Horizontal lights mounted on an ActiveLED bracket that provides full adjustment of each light fixture in both the vertical and horizontal axis to achieve the desired lighting pattern and intensity.
The following night-time picture - a single pole with 20 ActiveLED Area Horizontal Lights - is part of the illumination of a Baseball field.
In this example 2,080 Watt of ActiveLED lighting has replaced 12,000 Watt of legacy HID bulbs per pole, an instant energy saving of 82.7% (9,920 Watt). The pole is barely visible just below the lighting jewelry.
